I was watching Landscape mart and they were making someones garden more contemporary. It looked really nice when they were done but in the process they cut down some beautiful brugs. They were covered in blooms and they cut em, trashed em and put a patio over the area. LOL My jaw was on the ground, well my bed as I watched them do this. Here I am waiting on my first blooms and BOOM I saw that.
Anyone watch HGTV this sunday?
Dravencat I missed it today. Sure glad I did if they where destroying brugs. I am like you I wait all summer for blooms.
Gee, that is brug abuse!! What color were they? Didn't you just want to yell out to dig them up and transplant? LOL
Here also they are considered more of a nuisance plant. You ususally find them growing outside the older homes.
So what plants were considered more contemporary?
I'm glad I missed it! Just goes to show that somebody's trash is another's treasure. I would think they could have donated them to a nursing home or something!

I saw that today too! Goodness I couldn't believe it! I was envious and sad at the same time.

What did the home owner say when they got home to find out. There would have been a lot of bleeps come out of my mouth.
I cant remember the names of the plants they used but they were more common perenials and annuals and some bushes, ahh the one they mostly talked about is a small bush with leaves that turn very red, they put in alot of pots with flowers in them, and ya know the couple looked very happy and never said a word about them. I woulda been bleeped all over the place if they even thought of touching them. LOL
The colors were orange like CG and I believe a white too, not positive, I couldnt believe my eyes in the first place.
As I watched them take them out of the yard in huge bundles I kept thinking, I know people who would die to have those for cuttings right now, and Ack!! LOL But yes one persons trash is another persons treasure, but if they only knew.
We should send the TV show a brug abuse letter and threaten to do a protest march!!

People have protest marches for everything else. Why not a brug abuse march? I've been meaning to write HGTV anyway and ask what happend to all there good garden shows. LOL
Kell, hurry and do it before we all get too busy planting and pollinating or we'll be too busy to march or protest. LOL

Brugie, you're so right. Jerry Springer needs to be taken off the air. I wonder where he finds those people and how much they have to pay them to be on his show and act like they do.
