I have some lily of the valley and would like some red spider bulbs. I live in zone 5b and we have had a cold spell for the past couple of weeks(with snow), so nothings up yet. Would be glad to trade when it is time.LMK. Amy
Would love to trade with each of you, i just emailes ya'll! thank you!
I have a Forsythia (sort of peach/coral) and several chrysantheums in my garden. I don't have seeds for either.
I'm in NW Florida (Zone 8b). But I don't have a clue how to collect seeds or propagate cuttings from the Forsythia. If you or someone could tell me how, I would be happy to do this and send them to you.
I have several colors of chrysantheums coming up now, but I thought that they did best when planted in late summer (August). I know the colors we planted (yellow, garnet (go FSU Seminoles!), white). I also may have seeds from a pink variety. I say may, because I saved the spent blooms from last fall, and assume/hope? that I can collect seeds. I would be happy to share what I have if you're interested.
I would love to trade for your spider lily bulbs if you have any left (I've always wanted some, just never got around to adding them to this garden), and I am looking for moonflower seeds, if it will grow in Tallahassee FL.
Let me know if you are interested in a trade. Thanks!
Judith

i have a forsynthia bush Yellow i can get you a piece of rooted.
i am intersted in the irises.
it will be at least 4 more weeks until the snow is gone, but i will post here then.
Thanks marilyn
Thanks, Imzadi, for the info on rooting forsythia. I will give it a try.
Actually, the plant has been there 10 years and, although it has not impressed me much, maybe it's time to move it to a sunnier location. It's healthy, just doesn't bloom much. Location got too shady over time.
I'll bet there is more than one plant, or offshoots already. I'll try that first.
Thanks again!
Judith
Judith i have plenty of Spider lilly!
Great txflowerlover!
I really would love to trade you something for them. Would you be interested in the peach forsythia? I haven't had a chance to check yet, but I probably have multiple plants where the one plant was 10 years ago.
I'm new at plant trading, so I probably need some info on how to send it to you safely, so it doesn't die on the way. I just got a plant I ordered and they packaged it growing in a long skinny square "tube," inside a cardboard box. I still have the tube and box. I could probably repackage and send them that way.
Let me know if you would be interested in trading and, if so, do you have better suggestions for packaging plants for transport?
You can e-mail me if you wish.
Judith
