Pink Favorite is blooming.I have waited a long time to see this one bloom.I think it will live up to it's name and be a favorite.

Missed the picture.

I found this one to NOT like the Iowa heat, humidity, and full sun. The bloom was very thin feeling and would wilt easily. I didn't keep it. Your picture is very pretty.

Maybe that's why it has been slow to bloom. You are right about the thin flower.I will see how it likes this summer.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

This is a very pretty picture and needs to go in the PDB.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

I think this is one of Barb's favorites also. In my heat, I know it would not do well. Pretty picture.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

I have a pretty one from datdog(Kristi), I'd have to ask her but think she got it from Arlene. It is a deep color and very nice.

Root,I will put this in the PDB tonight.

PF is one of my favorites-it blooms and blooms and blooms even in our 95+ weather. Yes, it wilts in the noon heat but if given ample water and afternoon shade it is an outstanding brug. I agree that the walls are thin and could be improved a little.

Frannie, I've got Pink Favorite growing in full shade and it does just fine - no wilt in the summer and a good bloomer. I don't recall the blooms being particularly thin, either.

Second-day bloom. (same bloom as the first pic, I think)

Good shot Carter.

I don't think I have a place in my yard with full shade. Even under the big live oaks, the afternoon sun hits anything growing under it. It is nice to know that it does well for Barbara in 95+ temps. I may give it a try later on. Thanks for all the info.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

I seen this one in my greenhouse yesterday. Can't wait to see it bloom.

Carter beautiful photos.

Houston, TX(Zone 9b)

Thanks, Barbara - this is one that came from you! ;)

This is a picture of the real PF. She has very thin flower walls and half shade suits her best. The deep dark rim is a distinctive mark of the Pink Favorite flowers even in the winter.

This is the same flower, Monika. Not so evident in the photos, but the rim is there...
