I am getting ready to do some planting around the edge of our pond, and it is covered in weeds. Before they get too big, I want to either pull them out or cover them and kill them somehow. I hope once all the plants get in they will take over and crowd out the weeds. I considered covering them with compost, then weedblocker, and planting through that. Any better suggestions?
