Your nanas are looking pretty good considering their long winter's rest indoors. How many do you have? Are they all Musa Bajoos?

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

Shirl, not sure how many I have, forgot to count them!
No the basjoos,I leave in the ground,Haven't uncovered them yet, after I get my beds ready for planting,I'll uncover them. Here they are waiting for me to uncover them, maybe this weekend I can get the fountian running as well,so much to do whats a gardener suppose to do!!LOL

I think they are looking great! We must remember they spent whole winter in dark greenhouse. Nice.
I am sure you will get in good shape for summer.

Bryan, those nanas are amazing - I'm very jealous - still struggling with my seeds! How long have you had the Basjoo in the ground?

Yes Mitjo, what ever those seeds were, all of them have very shiny glossy leaves, except for the ligularis they are more like satin sheen, not so high glossy but very velvety looking.

Prudence, they have been in the ground 3 yrs now, will uncover them shortly.
