Still my favorite shot...

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I know this has been up here before, but maybe some newer members haven't seen it. This was a cutting last year that Kell sent me of Charles Grimaldi. It grew so well that I could stand under it to take pictures up into the blooms. I love all the different colors in this shot.

So pretty, Shirley - Thanks for sharing it again with us!

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

I remember that one. It's terrific how you were able to catch the color changes in the blooms.

Adrian, MI(Zone 5b)

What a beautiful shot! The light shining through the petals makes it just glow!

Dang it, Brugie
Every time I think I've identified my "favorites" that I MUST have, someone like you posts another one that makes my list keep growing. lol

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

That's a great shot Shirley. I can't wait for lots of blooms here.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

This picture show today has been so much fun! I just love it!

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Beautiful shot, Shirley. It will take a little while, before I will see blooms again on my brugs. SIGH

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Me too Monika. July is a long way away and that is when most of mine SHOULD begin showing off.

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

Shirley, that is so pretty. It won't be long, and we will have those beautiful blooms again!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Beautiful picture, Shirley.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Shirley, remember last year when Monika went from brugs inside to blooms in no time at all?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I know and I'm still not able to do it, but remember, I don't keep many full sized plants due to not having space for keeping them over. I basically start from scratch every year. Have maybe six or eight that I held over this year that may give me earlier bloom.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Last year you were chomping at the bit for flowers Brugie! I remember i wanted to send you some so badly!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Last year was a strange year. I've never had brugs go so long without blooms as I did then. It must have been the heat because it was so hot and so dry. This will have to be a better summer.

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

I wish our Summer would be different, but the one thing you can always count on in South Texas is hot, hot and hot.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Well, I won't beg for any of your weather. LOL!! I like it hot, but not the kind you are talking about.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

It rained so much here last year and was cloudy so much, my Brugs didn't take off blooming until late summer. I hope for a better year this year.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

We've had two bad summers, think it is time for a GOOD one. It was hot and dry, dry, dry in 2002. Last summer, it was dark, hardly any sun and rained so much, I even lost some of my old flowering trees, a weeping cherry, seemed like it never got dried out, before it rained again.

Sure looking forward to a good 2004 summer.

That pic is beautiful Shirl.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks Gloria. I hope we all have a great summer, but we have to get through spring first. I'm hoping it won't rain every day for weeks on end.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

We had rain all last summer, so hope it will be a little of each warm and some rain.

Come on spring, I can't wait much longer, want to see some brug blooms.
