Rosamond

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

One of my all time favourites. I could look at her all day.

This so far... is my favorite too. I'm afraid my big Mama plant has died back this winter.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I like this one a lot too. Can't wait to see any brug bloom here. I won't be picky for the first blooms, but after that just watch and see who gets the most attention.......LOL!!

I absolutely love this brug. Definitely an all time favourite.

Mine also! Love your pic Miss Lizzie! And this year I will have several mature trees! Well, more mature! LOL. I have one that is about 14 feet high!!! It stayed out all winter in the ground and did not die back at all! It must be in the warmest place in the garden!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Oh wow, that will be a sight when it blooms again. Can't wait to see some pictures of it. Take one that shows the height too. It has to be amazing to look at.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I will try. Last year I tried and tried to get a good shot but just could not get a good dangle. I am about to trim it back to get it much fuller. I have about 8 big limbs on it.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Gosh if it is in the right spot, before long you will be able to view it from the skylights in the house.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Beautiful, Liz. I just lost my one and only from poppysue.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Beautiful photos ... I can hardly wait to see blooms on mine this year.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Hang in there Gloria, there will be some around before long. If mine remains healthy and sends up some basal shoots, I'll get one rooted for you.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Bless you!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Liz, it is so beautiful. I saw mine bloom for the first time several weeks ago and I was thrilled. I also saw Butterfly bloom for the first time about 6 weeks ago. I am sure going to have fun this summer.

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

I don't like this one............I LOVE IT!!!! LOL I use this one a lot in breeding. seed pods mature in about two months instead of 7-9 months like others.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I put RK pollen on mine, the babies are growing fast!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL, this is a love thread!

I still owe you seeds Gloria, I will stick in a few cuttings if you will root them. OK? And bug me to send them.

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)

I have one of your Rosamond x RK babies growing, Susie, finally. Had trouble with the second batch of seeds molding, but one is up and looking good!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Mary, I had trouble with them wanting to mold too. I probably should have dipped them in bleach water first.

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)

I think I should have, too. I think I used physan on these, and I recently used physan on some other seeds and had mold problems on all of those, too, so apparently whatever causes the white furry mold isn't stopped by Physan. I am gonna go back to bleach.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I just checked some other seedlings I'm sowing the "Monika way"(I love that method cause I can see them germinate) and Eternity X Rosamond is molding, but none of the others. I think this calls for experiments, lol.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Susie! Mary you have encouraged her! Last year Susie had a bunch of us doing all sorts of experiments. She was a tough boss lady, a slave driver!

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Rosamond is a great brug! Her sister Cinderella has a more round looking leaf, which is deeply serrated.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Ok......my good friend Kell, I'm bugging, begging you to send those seeds and cuttings. Thank you much.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

You can't beat this one, I can tell you from experience that it takes alot of abuse and keeps going. My Rosamond cuttings froze this year, and you sure can't tell it now! A few even have blooms on them!

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)

Glora, I think I have an extra rosamond cutting rooted, let me check and if so, I can send you one.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Kell, I'm bugging and begging also.

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

I'm ill here. My Rosamond and Butterfly didn't make it through the Winter. Boo hoo, boo hoo.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Thank you also Mary, I will email you.

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)

Sylvia, I think I have one I can send you too, or will before too long.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks Mary. This sure makes it easy on me and they will have their plants in time to see bloom this year. That is much better than what I could offer.
