I haven't been active at Dave's for a while. So, I feel a bit out of place sending this out for your caring thoughts. But many of you met my girls Iris and Mollie here before. So, here goes.
Last November, we found out Mollie had cancer. DH and I did surgery together to remove her right rear leg. DH said he thought it looked okay. But, she's started to feel lousy again. DH thinks cancer may have gone to her lungs. We're going try out some chemo. He thought he'd try combining that with steroid, I think. We'll do another x-ray just before starting her tx.
In the meantime, I'm sad to say we lost Iris. Someone with a cruel heart, shot and killed her right below our house. It's just starting to sink in.
I'm so glad I can share this with you all. I know you all have loving hearts.
