I planted 4 rhizomes over a month ago. Only one has come up. Should I assume that the other three were bad or am I being too impatient? Our daytime temps are in the 80's with nights in mid 60's.

Hang in there. I had some last year that took a very long time to come up while others were a foot tall when they peeked through the ground. It doesn't mean that they didn't croak, but I would give them time anyway.
I had purchased some Lucifer canna online about two months ago. When they arrived the rhizomes looked dry and had no eyes but I planted them anyway. After several weeks with nothing coming up I had given up on them. Then I happened to buy some Superthrive. I put some on the Lucifer bulbs and several of the bulbs came up! It may have been conincidence....but.....
I have some Superthrive. Will try it after work today. Thanks for the reply.
