Ok, I just moved.Had an agreemnt and pond was stolen, help!

Temple, GA(Zone 7b)

Hey Everybody!! We just moved, and we had an agreement to get the pond and fish within the next few weeks. Well, now, I went yesterday to check on things and they had covered my pond with dirt. I had 10-12 inch Koi, alot of Blue's, comets, calico's, etc..... I had already gotten the pump, and our new hole here at the new house is already dug, but they just destroyed all of it and stole my fountains and I know all of my water lily's, black Gamecock Iris, and all other pond plants that were submerged. It wasn't like I just didn't go back after it, I told them I had to wait until the temp's were right. During the day, it has been about 60-65 here alot of days. I am so upset. You can see, on the thread of pond pictures my old pond. We built it there because it had a natural slope for a waterfall, and I would rather think someone stole the fish, than some mean awful person just dumping dirt on them. I am so upset!!! Can someone please help me, think of a neat way to do a waterfall. I thought of stacking brick or rock, covering it with dirt, and then adding my top rocks, but, if anyone can give their comments, I would certainly appreciate it. I have nothing for my pond now, so if anyone has anything they would like to get rid of ,Please let me know. I do not have any of my lily's, poppy's, verigated grass,(forgot name) Lotus, Black Gamecock Iris, ornaments, fountains, or anything! I appreciate you guys listening, and if you can't, I understand. We will be going tomorrow to get the new liner, Rocks, and on Thurs, I have a lady at the pet store saving me some 8-10 inch blue Koi, and I"ll get some calico's and Orange and white's. Should I add some warm water to the pond as I'm filling it, just to bring the temp up a little. Just to get them settled. I know it will drop again, but jut to prevent any prob's, from coming from the 65 deg. water in the pet store. Ofcourse. I'll let them float a while. Please help with any sugestions. And for the record. I was gonna leave those people some of my really pretty flowers because she liked them so well. But, oh well. Now she has a bare holey yard! I know that sounds mean, but I am so glad she was not there whenever I was, or I guess the Southern Girl would have came out in me and I would have gotten into trouble. Because all I kept thinking was planting her forehead about 5-6 inches in one of my flower holes and holding her there for about 5-10 min. I know this sounds mean, but I worked on that pond day in and out like you all do for years. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If anyone had anything like fountains, or ornaments, or anything like that please email and let's make a deal!!!!!

Thanks soooooo much for listening!!!!
Thanks, Traci S

If it was me, I would wait on the fish until your pond is filled and the water warmed up. We just started feeding our fish yesterday and the water temp is 67. I'm sorry you lost your fish, plants, and pond things. How sad.

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

This is very sad! I saw Traci's pond and her fish. She had a very nice set up over there, and its a very sad thing that it had to get covered up like that.
If I had water plants Traci I would surely share with you.
I know how upset you are about all this and hopefully the ones here that do have pond plants will find it in their hearts to share some of their off spring extra's with you.

Good luck :)

Thanks so much everybody! I have just been so upset! We are right now in the process of setting all new things up. Bought a new 1900 GPH pump for 1695 gal pond, and after buying a new liner and all of the others to go with it as I'm sure you all know, I just did not have the money for any plants. The weather has been really great lately, and I am wanting to go ahead and get it set back up. so, if anyone can spare anything ,Please LMK! Thanks Vic & Mollybe, you guys are great!

Thanks, Traci S

TraciS, If you still need stuff in 6-8 wks I might be able to send you some plants- It is still 30-40's here and haven't gotten anything off the bottom yet-don't really have any "rarities" -just your usual waterlilies, edgers etc. but would be happy to share. Email me later if you still are interested. MW
