I hope the intense quiet eminating from this forum means everyone is busy. I've been busy, but it's all inside. We had snow last weekend, and now the St. Patrick's day annual snow storm has come a day early and may stay a day late from what the weather guys are saying. I'm so sick of saying, 'it's snowing again!'

Stan's been finishing up some wood working projects and I've been finsihing and starting some quilt projects. He'll probably paint the cupboards in the study today and I'm going to see if I can tweak the trillium pattern that I'm going to use in the DG quilt (see "Calling All Quilters" in Home and Crafts). It works out nicely from a six pointed star, but I have to get the proportions for the leaves worked out.

I finished my grandson's quilt on Saturday and have to start another little baby floor quilt for a shower on the 28th. Ruth, you asked about the floor quilts, they are just little flannel pads, basically. Enough to put down on the floor when you need to set a baby down quickly, or a fairly light cover in a bassinette. I've been using flannel for all the girls up north here, but I will use cottons for Melissa in Kentucky.
