THESE are baby brugs, right????????

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

I'm pretty sure I have this straight now! I previously got my markers mixed up (thought my red canna lilys were brugs before, lol )- new to both.

If these are Brugs, YEAH - I'm in the game!

Thank you everyone! I just love it when any type of seedling comes up, but I went apes over these! How long should I wait before transplanting them into a slightly bigger pot?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Karrie, let them get true leaves before you transplant. Then only put them in small pots so they can become rootbound before you move them into another bigger pot. I use 2 x 2 x 4 inch pots to put my seedlings into and then move into quart size pots that are deep. Next move, depending on the time of the year will either be a gallon pot or outside into 10-15 gallon pots. I used to move from the first 2 x 2 pots into 4 inch pots, but decided they weren't deep enough and have been having great luck with the deep quart pots.

Good Info Brugie,I will make sure to follow this advice, those true leaves sure seem to come on slow!

Thanks Brugie - I am going to print that out and put it in my garden journal.
