If you have a computer that came with bundled software is if possible to take separate programs from it to install on a new computer? and if you CAN do it is it piracy if it is still for your own personal use?

Example: On my pc I have Star office word processing that came on the computer. On my laptop I only have works and it does not do the html codes that star does. I would like to download the program from the pc to the laptop but do not know if it is do ~able
