Where to get Freesia bulbs

Franklin, LA(Zone 9a)

I've decided I must have more Freesia ... Lots more - LOL

Does anyone know where I can find blooming sized Freesia bulbs for sale online?

I don't even know when is the right time to plant these, so any advice would be appreciated. The ones in my garden were happy accidents (freebies that managed to survive my ineptitude).

Thanx in advance for any help!

Dutch Gardens sells them. www.dutchgardens.com They sell them as spring-planted bulbs since they can't take frozen soil. Here in Kellifornia, I would plant them in the fall. I don't think you can go wrong planting them in the spring, though.

Thanx, Kelli.

Since my few Freesias are blooming now, I wouldn't expect flowers until next year. 'Course, I wouldn't complain if they did bloom ...
