Definitely Tradescantia. I have a yard full of them--pink, purple and white. It's gorgeous right now in the AM when they are all blooming. Looks like a meadow in the front yard.

I had never noticed just how beautiful and delicate the flowers were until I saw this photo. I allowed them to stay in my garden because I loved the color so much and they required no care, except keeping them under control. They are extremely agressive. I wish that I could find some Day Lillys that multiplied as quickly. I live in south eastern North Carolina and have seen them everywhere between here and the coast. Wonder how they made it here?
