Fayette, MO(Zone 6a)

Good Morning,
What a busy time of year. whew! Just spent some time catching up on all the posts here in the last couple of days.
The last couple of days here have been spent separating cattle and sheep and goats to sell. The calves sold yesterday and the sheep and goats sell tomorrow, although we will load them up today and take them to the market about an hour away.
I always wish I could see them sell. Never seems to be the time.
Hope to improve my cattle herd in the next year. Isn't that the way it always is with farmers? Always looking for nicer stock or better equipment. We're never done.
I am closely watching a mother goat that had tripletts. She is an amazingly good mother and I haven't taken any of the babies away from her yet. Since she is half Lamancha I am thinking she may have enough milk for them all and they seem to be thriving. What a cute bunch they are. I will have to find her this morning and give her extra corn.
I have a new bottle lamb. My best friend took it to the city this week for school children to see. I know she will be anxious to return him to me this weekend.
Jewel, any chance of coming to Missouri soon?
