Had to pop the calyx for this seedling to bloom it's very first bud yesterday.Curious now to see if it unfurls. Or how it develops.May have to wait out it's other buds for better.

Welp, I got some Brugs! Put in two long rows of them last year, different sorts. Still have some in the ghouse, plus some rooting in water. I seem to have fallen more for the doubles and YEEHAW! Triples tho.
Guess I better pop back in here more often, eh?

Don't be scared of it Shirley,I rinse the roots to get a better look,sometimes that baby comes of all by itself.snapping it off will be no worse than cutting it.
I don't think it is very big, even tho the leaves are almost two foot tall. They don't look very sturdy. Thanks. Will see what happens.

Just wanted to let you know Shirley, I got an EE off ebay, and umm lol the (excuse my lack of knowledge) root/bulb/thingy was the size of a pea, it seems to be doing ok, and the leaves are smaller than a quarter. Maybe yours will do ok. :o)

Yes it did drop more.
Bloomed nicely last time, but I didn't get a pix )o: Buds again, should bloom again in a few days. This time I will.
Also will check what the cross was.
