I know how you feel Monika,my snow is finally starting to melt,I can see patches of grass and can actually see the tops of some shrubs........now I'm looking forward to all the MUD

Both pictures are beautiful in their own way, but I have to say that I enjoy the first one the most. Hopefully you will not get more snow. I think we all deserve warm weather and brug blooms now. Great pictures and as always, you post treats for our eyes.
Monika... Do you do anything to protect your Brugs in the winter. I'm new to Brugs and under the impression that they won't survive in colder climates.
Gary, I need to keep my plants during the winter in a Greenhouse. Brugmansias do not survive the middle european winter. The ground can freeze two feet deep. The roots dont survive it.

Yes, there will be an end! Here my Japanese Maples are just breaking thru. I love this sight. Such downy hair on the baby leaves. Spring is definitely here! I need to go out and plant more bulbs! It is a warm and beautiful day.

I'm new to the garden forum, and I wondered if your imaginary pictures are really pictures from your garden in summer. If so, they are unbelievably beautiful. I want to try to grow some brugs this summer, and I'll certainly be using this forum to help me.

60 degrees outside and yes, I've been in the greenhouse. It is windy, but the greenhouse is warm and I've opened the door and window to let it cool down some. Everything is looking great out there and all of my babies are snug in the house.

Beautiful, beautiful imagination, Monika. We had a foot of snow week before last and 70 to 80 degree weather this week. It supposed to get cold again next week. I hope this will be our last cold snap but probably not.
I can imagine us sitting there sipping wine... late in the evening when they are starting to smell sweetly in the night air. Then I realize, that would require a plane trip, and they don't make that much wine!
I'm not that crazy about flying either, but if it were at all possible, I think I would take a chance. My SIL works in Germany and flies back and forth a lot. I could fly over with him and he could even drive me straight to Monika's. That would be a great trip to take. Just wish it weren't only a dream.

Thank you all! I would love to get at least one of the summer houses started. I could be outside again but in a warm place... but there is no chance! Its snowing again and the temperatures are deeper than in a freezer.

It's 86 deg. here today and I'm taking a break from working in the yard. I must really be getting old, because I pooped out in a hurry. It sure is nice though, and even though I'll never have a yard that looks like yours, Monika, I can use my imagination as well. It's gorgeous.
really Monika! Sometimes we go to Lake Tahoe in the spring. We like it when it is 70 there but they still have lots of snow on the ground!
