I'm glad you have a great imagination Monika! YUCK!!! SNOW.. Are you suppose to get very much?
Your first picture is beautiful. Your garden is like something out of a magazine.
My imagination stinks. All I can see is cold and more cold. I really don't like winter.

Mukwonago, WI(Zone 5a)

Monika....ALL your pictures are such a treat for the eyes! And your imagination sure has a way of producing a beautiful reality. Looking forward to this year's photos....

I know how you feel Monika,my snow is finally starting to melt,I can see patches of grass and can actually see the tops of some shrubs........now I'm looking forward to all the MUD

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Monika ... love your imagination ... hardly any snow left right now (won't say that very loud). Imagine away and post more!! Beautiful.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Every flower pic helps. Can spring be far off? Hope not!

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Thank you all for your nice words of encouragment!
The farmers almanach says for today: if it snows on Fridolins Day, it will snow for 40 days!!! Well, isnt that encouraging LOL

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Both pictures are beautiful in their own way, but I have to say that I enjoy the first one the most. Hopefully you will not get more snow. I think we all deserve warm weather and brug blooms now. Great pictures and as always, you post treats for our eyes.

Cary, NC(Zone 8a)

Monika... Do you do anything to protect your Brugs in the winter. I'm new to Brugs and under the impression that they won't survive in colder climates.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Gary, I need to keep my plants during the winter in a Greenhouse. Brugmansias do not survive the middle european winter. The ground can freeze two feet deep. The roots dont survive it.

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Oh Monika....I love your imagination! I am so ready for spring and warm weather! I know you are too!

Brinda :)

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

Both are beautiful pictures. If I were king of the world,I would have it snow here once a year, one foot deep and last for one day!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh thanks Monika. Such a breath of fresh air! even if cold! LOL

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

All I can say is...sure hope that almanac is w-a-y off! Think I could handle snow once a year and only stay on the ground for two days.

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

very pretty pictures Monika! Soon there will be a light at the end of the snowy tunnel.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Yes, there will be an end! Here my Japanese Maples are just breaking thru. I love this sight. Such downy hair on the baby leaves. Spring is definitely here! I need to go out and plant more bulbs! It is a warm and beautiful day.

Monika-
I'm new to the garden forum, and I wondered if your imaginary pictures are really pictures from your garden in summer. If so, they are unbelievably beautiful. I want to try to grow some brugs this summer, and I'll certainly be using this forum to help me.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

I hope, you are right Shelley! At the moment, spring is at kells place and its a loooooooooong way to my place.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Monika,I am not even going to tell you, what is like here today. But I am willing to bet brugie is out in her greenhouse, and she is north of me.
Hang in there,we will send you some warmth!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

60 degrees outside and yes, I've been in the greenhouse. It is windy, but the greenhouse is warm and I've opened the door and window to let it cool down some. Everything is looking great out there and all of my babies are snug in the house.

LGW, those pictures are of Monika's place and you won't believe what some of her other pictures look like. Click on her name and check out the threads she has started. Make sure you have something to drink beside you because you won't want to leave your chair for some time.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Beautiful, beautiful imagination, Monika. We had a foot of snow week before last and 70 to 80 degree weather this week. It supposed to get cold again next week. I hope this will be our last cold snap but probably not.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

I can imagine us sitting there sipping wine... late in the evening when they are starting to smell sweetly in the night air. Then I realize, that would require a plane trip, and they don't make that much wine!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I'm not that crazy about flying either, but if it were at all possible, I think I would take a chance. My SIL works in Germany and flies back and forth a lot. I could fly over with him and he could even drive me straight to Monika's. That would be a great trip to take. Just wish it weren't only a dream.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Hey, I feel a road trip coming on! LOL

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Kell, I agree....road trip! Y'all know I love road trips.
Your brugs were beautiful Monika and hopefully it won't be too long before they are in full bloom again.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Thank you all! I would love to get at least one of the summer houses started. I could be outside again but in a warm place... but there is no chance! Its snowing again and the temperatures are deeper than in a freezer.

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Your gardens are beautiful anytime of year. Hopefully spring is just around the corner. I know we are all ready for it.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

What a lovely picture to imagine. Your gardens will be filled with beauty in a couple of months. I think the snow pictures are pretty.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Snow pictures are pretty as long as you dont have the snow Nanny LOL

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

It's 86 deg. here today and I'm taking a break from working in the yard. I must really be getting old, because I pooped out in a hurry. It sure is nice though, and even though I'll never have a yard that looks like yours, Monika, I can use my imagination as well. It's gorgeous.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

really Monika! Sometimes we go to Lake Tahoe in the spring. We like it when it is 70 there but they still have lots of snow on the ground!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I'll take the 70 degrees, you can have the snow. It is so nice to have it gone from here now. Would you be interested in some 40 mph winds to go with the snow?
