Welcome abbethel...Fellow Kerrvert. :)
Nice to see other Texans on the forums!

What about this weather we are havin, eh?
It has been so warm the past few days, I
have had to run the air conditioner. :D

Many seedlings in pop-up Pete Pots to
transplant within the month I am SURE! My
Zinnias are leggy and my Marigolds need a
warm bed. I have TONS of seed coming in
from Round Robins, Friends sending me gift
packs, and some from my 2003 Fall harvest
while we were on the ranch in Johnson City.

LOTS of landscaping to do, mostly drought tollerant
for the *Texas Heat* waves of late Spring to
Late Summer! We are on rental property for a
couple years now, but SOON we'll be aquireing
our own property & new home. For now I am
planning landscaping and such.

The landlord is a SUPER guy and wants me to do the
ENTIRE property ... maybe even a pond. YIPPY!
I've been wanting my greenhouse again, but I
can wait for another year or so in order to have
a large NEW one all my own.

Here is a photo of my single Zinnias in a wall bed.
They grew to 3 ft. tall, and they produced a lot
of viable seed. I also grew some small 2 ft.
doubles last year, shown in the next post.

Welcome abbethel, so glad to have you join us in the garden. Won't be long now even for us northeners! The grass is greening and the daylilies are pushing up their noses. Have a feeling there just might be one more snow before we are done but then that's the challenge.

Schriever, LA(Zone 9a)

Welcome abbethel from S. Louisiana. I love zinnias too - especially the tall ones. Thanks for sharing yours. They're such happy plants :)

Myrtle Beach, SC(Zone 8a)

I know LadibugZ9, I like the rich colors.
You're welcome, hopefully I can share more
in other areas soon! :) KEEP SMILING SPRING!

llilyfan, Maybe us Southerners could SHAVE some
ice cubes and have a white Spring. Hope you are
keeping warm and that Spring comes for you soon
too! Don't feel too badly, we are getting rain like
you wouldn't believe. The pups came in today and
looked like Tar Babies. :)

ZZTOPSOIL, what an interesting user name.
How did you come up with that? It is a real
garden lovers name! :D

(Zone 5a)

Welcome and pull up a chair and read all about the brug lovers here, I know you will enjoy it as well as all the other forums if you have time to read them all. I am a novice when it comes to brugs but do manage to grow one or two each year.
We seem to have half if not all the state of Texas as memebers, maybe I should move there lol.

Myrtle Beach, SC(Zone 8a)

Bring some clothes and a SMILE!
I have a leather hide-a-bed and
a spare latrine! LoL Not to mention
tons of seed you could help me
sow.
