Hi Moretz ! Are Clivia seeds very very tiny... almost like dust ? I 've received 3 little pods in European RR with tiny tiny seeds in it. If you like to have these just let me know.

The Clivia miniata seeds are in a red pod,4 seeds to a pod, 3/8 to 1/2 inch in diameter and encased in sort of a slimy thin skin like that left on an onion after you try to peel the outside layer off.I just got a seed pod from a friends plant and want to try them too. I can send you a couple seeds if you want.

I just planted a few seeds in the gh. I've has success growing them from seeds and in about 2 or 3 days I will have one of the older plants to bloom!

Since the seedlings are tough little plants I would have happy to send you one or two after they sprout and get some size.

BTW anyone know of a source for Yellow Clivia? I really want to try that one.

Thanks!

Ray.

p.s. for got to ask you how do you germinate them? did you soak, need light etc? thanks for helping

Harvest seed from the berries when they turn red and sow immediately. Sow singly in 3" pots using peat based potting mix. Just do cover the seed. Germination takes between 4 to 8 weeks at a temperature of 65-70F. Cooler night temps will delay germination. Stored seeds may take longer.

NC, if you have extras, I would love one. I have a variety of seedlings that I could send you if you have an interest. PLMK
