Thanks Karrie -- there are some neat crosses in there, so maybe there will be a special one in the bunch...

I removed them from what I call the brug jungle. I threw all of the seeds from a pod that was broken off before it matured. I didn't think anything would come up and they all seem to have come up. They jungle container is full again.

Thanks all of you for the pics! At least now I know the difference between a Canna & a Brug, should any of my other markers be mixed up! :)

I just love babies! I think of all they can become!

So Moonlighting, did you put the RW in bark chips? I hadn't heard of doing that. Is it working great for you?

Cindy, I have not had any of my premies come up! What is your secret? is that a plastic box? Do you put the lid to get them to germinate?

Needville, TX(Zone 9a)

Kell - it is not exactly pure bark chips but a growing mixture with the little chips in it - this mix is supposed to have good drainage and this is the first time I have tried this mixture - so far my little seedlings like it. I germinated the seeds first in the RW and then transfered the lot into the the peat pots with the soil mixture....

Thanks! I have about 50 to tranfser from the RW this weekend. I should have done it last week. I just have no room but they are getting to wet in the baggies so I better get going!

Moon - That's kind of what I am using for mine. It's called "Transplanting Mix".
