A reader recently asked the PDB helpdesk for assistance in knowing where and when to look for datura seeds. After a cursory review, I realized that we don't have many (any?) images of Datura seedpods or ripe seeds. I'm not sure if the seeds of various species are different in size, color, etc. So.....those of you who ARE familiar with the various Datura species and varieties: please try to grab a camera and get some images of seed pods and ripe seeds. (Using a coin for comparative size is a big help, too!)
Thanks in advance ;o)

Datura seeds
Morning Terry -
Don't know how much this will help, as I only have a few. There are a couple images of seeds/pods on the Datura tatula record in the PDB:

And here are a few seeds, have only a botanical name for my D. tatula:
Edit - too bad Dave's spell checker doesn't work on embedded text on images. :-) That should be Black Currant Swirl

What great seed pictures Happenstance. Are you going to have tons of daturas this year in your garden? I can't wait for pics!
Gee Terry... I just went through some of the entries and I see lots of seed and seed pod pictures.
