I have several brugs. and this is the only one that I am worried about. Does it look like the disease?

It may be just a rot. The picture is not too good. I dont think, you have to worry.
i don't know, Honibee. i do know i had a brug last year that got black spot, like a rose will get. it's coming back now from winter frost, i'm gonna move it to more sun before it gets too big.
Looks like something had a little nibble on it.

I have had great luck in sealing rot places by putting rootone on them. I had a few problems in my wet hoophouse this winter and it really stopped the rot in its tracks. I also had a pod that had a white mold over a squishy spot on the top by the peduncle and I was sure I was going to lose it. But I didn't!
