I like this one! Know of a source for seeds and/or plants?

Oooo, la, la. Very pretty, Monterey. Love that color!

Ray, seeds are pretty difficult to get to germinate. I read that they need scarification. This is a great site about them: http://www.meden.demon.co.uk/Malvaceae/Alyogyne/Alyogyne.html

They do get large and become trees and are said to be hardy in Zone 9 and Zone 10. Mine has outgrown a 15-gallon container. Some Home Depots have them, but I don't know where you can get them mail order.

This one is "Santa Cruz":

What I like about them is they start out lavender, go to violet-dark blue, then this.
