Farmers please help me save my plants

I have my seedlings in a heated shed that is very old. Well today I went out and had about 30 of my seedling plants destroyed. They even pulled out my moon flower seeds out of the peat buttons and ate them as well. They made it a total mess. I have set some mouse traps and a Rat trap. I found what looks to be huge mice droppings, I have found these before but they have never bothered my things. I live out in the country, so is there anything I can do to prevent them from destroying the rest of my hard work? All my time,money and care for my seeds is going down the drain. I get so much enjoyment out of gardening and they are spoiling it.

Oh one last thing, now I am really mad because I accidently discharged the rat trap on my thumb. Those things are powerful opened my skin and caused some swelling. Luckily it was a new one.
