Buddha's Hand is about the size of a tennis ball

My Buddha's Hand is about the size of a tennis ball now. I can hardly wait for it to turn yellow and I can try my hand at some candied citron.

takes forever to turn yellow and get ripe....
seems odd to me, mine always flower in spring, make fruit all summer, and the fruit turns yellow around dec-jan.

does yours always seem so delayed? or is mine just fast I wonder.

Cindy you going to make your own citron ?? Fun tree !!

Mine flowers all year, like lemons. It has friut and blooms now. It has several fruit, but this is the largest. Is yours in the ground or potted. I'm in zone 7b so it is a house plant.

Deeproots, I don't have a Budda's hand, but it takes my oranges even longer than that to ripen. The tree blooms in the spring and the fruits start being ripe in January or February and keep on the tree for months.
