I'm not sure if this is the right forum....but I'm looking for an upright EE. Does anyone have one for trade or postage? Thank you...b
upright elephant ear?
Babs,Majority of mine are going to the Iowa round up,I can see what I have after, but can not make any promises at this point,I an going the dissect a bulb later today,it may be a couple weeks before I know if I have any from it.
RootDr.
Babs..what kind of upright do you want...smaller size(4 ft tall when mature) or large (9 ft tall) :-)
Eclipse..........Either one....I saw them in a catalogue and was just interested in trying one. I didn't know they came in 2 sizes..............do you have any, and does one grow better?
I have a couple of the regular EE's and they seem to do good in pots here. 9ft tall!!! Way cool!!! I'd probably like to try both cause they sound neat.I like things with big leaves and am making a small section of my garden along the fence for those plants. Last year I got a plant called Colts foot, which I hope comes back this year.Let me know your opinion please?
Thanks...b
I don't know which colts foot you got but if its the one I've got KILL IT NOW! It will take over your garden ,its worse than mint!
Now,someone told me there is another colts foot which is well behaved, but mine is the wild herb and you DON"T WANT IT
Root, can you point me to your thread from last year where you showed propagating ears? I spent ages yesterday trying to find it with no luck.
Trying to think of which thread you mean Liz?
I'll go look and see what I find.
Here is one.
