Versi pods

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

These are pods that have been on there since summer, how long till they're done?
The first one is on one of Monikas versi crosses
they were both fertilized by moths so I have no clue who the dads are,but since I really
got rid of most of my suavenolens hopefully none of them got their pollen in there.....

the pods are HUGE!

I'm dying to pick them but I'm waiting pateintly....NOT

My Versi Orange had a seedpod since fall. Stem just turned yellow/tan and dried up(stem). I pulled it off, had brown ripe seeds. Hope yours' are ripe soon.

Sometimes, ripe pods become soft and start to rot. This is, what all my pods are doing this year. Because of the strong freeze, we have for weeks now, I am unable to open the windows or the door in the winterhouse. The heater is running day and night.

CC, I have some that have been going since 7/23. But more than half of them ripen as soon as spring got into the air. I am still waiting on my RK and L'A pods.
