poppies

Marysville, WA(Zone 7a)

After some more sorting I find a surplus of P. somniferum seed which I would like to share. Don't need anything at this time, although a six foot Encephalartos horridus in an antique bronze age tub would be nice, so a sase will do just fine. robert

oh id love some poppies.. send me your adresssssss please...

Wildwood, FL(Zone 9a)

I would love some. Someone posted on PDB that this type will grow in Florida!

Mableton, GA(Zone 7b)

LOL Sorry, no Encephalartos horridus. Although, I have to say, from the latin name it doesn't sound very appealing anyways! SASE works for me! I'd love some. :)

I would like some poppies too, even if you have only a few. I don't even want to think about the cost of that tub.

Robert I received the seed yesterday. I sure never expected so many seed and the extras were great too. If I bought those in seed packets I cant imagine how many I would have had to have purchased!
Thank you so much!

do these guys NEED a freeze? I can put them out now, but I can't guarantee another night below 32. Perhaps I should put them in the freezer for awhile?

Franklin, LA(Zone 9b)

ooh that purple one's beautiful!
i just found this thread..
i dont suppose you've got any left, eh?

Marysville, WA(Zone 7a)

Angela. I am not aware that they need a freeze. There are several hundred self-sown starts coming up in the yard now, as well as a lot of of the same in starter trays in the sunroom. The indoor starts haven't had the "advantage" of a cold set and seem to be doing well.Go ahead and sow, I'll send more seed if they don't germinate.robert
