I wanted to grow my own horseradish and picked up a
root in the grocery store. It looks kinda dead - any hope
it will grow? Should I put it in water?
horseradish
I've heard if you just put it in some soil it should take. I have also heard it can take over your whole garden, so put it in a separate raised bed or large pot. Not sure, however, if you can use the ones from the grocery store......????????
Soak in room temp water for 24 hours then plant.Takes about 10 days to sprout.
Cool thanks
I plan to plant in next to the other incredibly invasive
species - Chinese silver grass. I figure they can duke it out.
Thanks for the info
