Lily Newbie with questions

I planted my first Lilies on Saturday...12 star gazers assorted colors. I found a bit of rot/fungas/mold on a couple of the bulbs....I striped off the effected 'scales', and powered the remaining bulbs with antifungal powder.
Should this take care of the problem? Can I expect growth and blooms from these bulbs, or will I lose them you think?

if the fungus is very bad I would have soaked the bulbs in a liquid fungicide for 30-45 minutes

Hmmmm....I'll keep that in mind for future fungi :-)

Would Funginex (Triforine) be OK to use? Could an insecticide be used with it for the lily beatle? I bought some lily bulbs that I will not be planting outside for a few weeks, although I may pot them up.
