Where do you purchase seeds for this plant? Are they difficult to grow as a house plant? Thank-you! Rachele

Rachele ..did you ever get a answer to your question? I have bought a plant its beautiful and has seed pods on it but dont know when they will pop..they say you have to wait untill they are ready and the seeds are so small they are hard to catch cause they fly all over the place ..I would love to have Mico58 explain how he did his seedlings..they are so healthy looking.. Hi, I have this plant and the seeds weren't too small ( about the same as sunflower seeds only fatter) but I found them all over the room last winter. They were quite a distance away from the mommy plant. Anyway I just kept putting them on the surface of the mommy's pot and one seedling grew next to the mom. Now I hafta figure out how to separate them!

I love this picture and would love to know if Mico still has them growing there. His planting inspired me to buy 10 of the little guys to plant in similar planters with plumerias, palms, and cannas. My only concern is whether our (Zone 10) winters are too cold and too wet for them to survive in the ground. I may have to keep them in a container so they are moveable in the winter.

Gingerose, that's a really nice one that you have. I had one in a clay pot a few years back, and I did put a knee-high stocking over the seeds to catch them, and that worked well. I think I sowed the seeds, but they did not germinate for some reason, but I think they are exclusively propagated by seeds so they probably just need warmth and moist soil to germinate.

Boojum, yours is nice too!
