Need ADVICE on some bulbs I don't have to dig up!

Eyota, MN(Zone 4a)

Hi!
I live in Minnesota - Zone 4 - where there are cold winters. Does anyone know of some bulbs that don't have to be dug up in the fall/winter? I love tulips, lilies, and iris - because I can just leave them alone - and they go crazy! I would love any help you can give me!
Thanks!

I want to naturalize my bulbs into my perenial garden but worry that the bulbs will rot. Any suggestions? I am planning to put in anenomes, ranuculus, daffodis, tulips frttaria, freesia, dutch iris and anythng else I can find. I know the tulips need a freeze which we dont get in zone 9 and so those will have to take there chances unless someone has an idea for getting them up easily. Has anyone come up with an easy way to use pots that work or perhaps all those containers we have from the nursery? Thanks Shirley

How about daffodiles?

I think the winter-hardy gladiolus byzantinus is one of the loevliest of all bulbs that can be left in the ground over winter even in zone 4. The bright violet-red blooms have such a delicate form & they do well in partial shade or full sun. Treat yourself to a few dozen; you'll add more the next year, I promise!
