Mail to AOL users coming back..

I've sent mail to several AOL subscribers and it keeps coming back to me. Just wanted you all to know that I'm not ignoring you, just can't get the mail through. Does anyone know what is going on?

Heading out to clean up the greenhouse and with some luck, will start moving out there this next week. Can't wait to get some of this greenery moved out of the house so we can see out of the windows again.

Well darn Shirley....who knows what is up with AOL! I don't know if I am one of the ones that you sent mail to or not, but I've received mail from other DGers this week. Just thought I'd throw this in...LOL

Don't know about AOL, but I'm with you in cleaning out the greenhouse. Yesterday we power washed everything with bleach and it's ready for plants. Hoping the night temps go up a little more this coming week. Tired of all the plants in the house. My brugs have been hanging on all winter but ready for some growth and maybe some blooms. I have a bloom on my butterfly, hope it stays on. Cathy

Brinda, it just started doing this to me late last night and I just mailed something to Kell and it came back just this minute.

Cathy, one day soon we will finally get the plants out of the house and be able to play in the dirt more, even if it is in the greenhouse.

Vi and Monika (both have AOL)just told me they can't get into ABADS. So I wonder if AOL is really screwed up!

I am able to send Brugie mails with AOL, but her reply is returned.
Even when I google for it, the links dont open. I dont think, this is a AOL problem

I have AOL, and it has been kicking me out all day, and I have to log on again. Also, it told me once I had trouble with my mail this morning.

ABADS won't open for me either, but I don't have AOL. Their server must be down?

ABADS is up for me, it was down for a short while with a really strange message last night! Only problem I'm having now is returned mail, I guess...

I'm getting into ABADS and I have AOL....hmmmmm! Strange!

I can receive mail from AOL users, but I can't send to them. My server has been blocked from AOL. So, until they come to an agreement, I have to mail AOL folks through Yahoo. It is a pain in the rear, but at least I can still mail out. I haven't checked ABADS today. It was fine last night and that was after I started having trouble. Just checked and I CAN get into the forums over there.

I had the same problem a while ago trying to email Vi. I complained to my ISP and they told me that AOL had placed them on their spam list. All mail from g-net.net automatically went in AOL's trash.

It took a few weeks for them to work out the problem, but I don't have anymore problems.

Boy, this could turn out to be a LONG few weeks then. Thanks Kris. Monika had told me what the problem was. I'm glad that I at least know and know what to expect. It sure is a pain though, any way I look at it.

Monika says lots of the servers are now going to be picky about servers who allow a lot of spam. So it is just not AOL I guess.

Trish just emailed me and said they had a problem yesterday with ABADS coming up but it should be fine today.

Monika, I didn't have a problem getting on ABADS yesterday or today. I was thinking it may be like when you had the AOL problems a little while ago and I never had them. Monika, can you get on there now? There is a whole birthday thread on there for you!

No, I am still unable to go into abads. It tells me, that either the server cannot be found and google says that this server is momentarily down!

My aunt in WV says that she keeps getting returned mail that she sends to me at AOL. She is with ATT. I have people tell me all the time though that they can't get mail to or from me for some reason or another.

Monika, I also can't log into ABADS so you're no alone in this.

Gee, you are the 4th person to say this. I just sent a link to another person and it worked for her. Let me send you one also, I will tell Trish some are still having a problem!

Morning All -

I'm unable to get into ABADS either, have SBC DSL and a seperate regular dial-up line for AOL. Neither one will bring up their website.

I emailed Trish again and told her about the problems. I will let you know what she says. If there are any more of you that can't get in, let me know.

Poor Trish just got out of the hospital Thursday and is still ill. And as you know Vicki has been gone since her husband died so suddenly in November. So it might take longer than a minute to fix.

OH P.S. the link I sent to CC got her in but she could not get round to other forums there, so forget that idea.

Like Clare, ABADS will not open for me and I don't have AOL. Keep getting message that server could not be found...even when googled.

Just read in my local paper a couple days ago that AOL won't allow anyone with TDS as a server to accept any mail because of spam. Guess it's affecting quite a few thousand customers. I have TDS, but guess I haven't tried to send to anyone with AOL.

I found that if you typed in Abads.com I couldn't get into the website, but if I just typed Abads and went to "our purpose" there was no problem.

I can't get into ABADS either. It just tells me error can't find site.

Trish knows. Tracey just was just telling me that Trish had written somewhere that they were working on it. Tracey, I can't remember if you said you were reading that from an email or on the site. I think on the site.

I think the reason I can get into BrugBuds, is I have it saved on my favorite places on the Brug Buds page so I am already in the site. Ada tells me the link I sent her which brings you right into the site worked for her. Soon as you are in, save it to the inside BrugBuds page so you will not have to try to come in thru the ABADS site. I will send links out to you all that are posted on here. LOL David, I just emailed you about your glads 1 minute ago. I will send you the inside link.

I get on sometimes to ABADS.. lol then sometimes I dont. I have ABADS saved in my favorites also, but if I try to look at other ABADS sites, it gives me an error.
This internet thing is WONDERFUL.... when it works! :o)

I think for now the problem is solved you all might try it again. I wasn't able to get into ABADS this morning either, but the server was down, now it is running smoothly again.

I have ABADS gallery in my favorites. Shows error, can't bring it up today.
