Heavy Bloomers?

Decatur, GA(Zone 7a)

I'd like to get a couple of rooted brugs. Which ones would bloom the most in my area (zone 7)? I think they are all wonderful, so color doesn't matter.

Dr. Seuss, Charles Grimaldi, for yellow/orange. Frosty or suaveolens pinks bloom well and all smell good. When advertised in catalogs as pink, yellow, white, you usually end up with one of these.

pins . . email me. I am going to be sending some cuttings in a couple of weeks to several other newbies to brugs. If I have enough I will send you some for postage.

That sounds great! You have mail!

My best performing brug in the heat of GA last summer was Whiskers. There was never a time it didn't have a few flowers, but most of the time it was loaded.

I have not had much luck with suaveolens like Frosty. They bloom in the spring and fall but sit around a mope in the heat.

Whiskers is such a cute name for a plant. What color is she?

My S. Pink bloomed from May to November with time out in the hot weeks of August, and was my best bloomer--of course I only had about 7, but it bloomed quick from a small plant! Oh, and it was hot and muggy here too!

Both of these are so beautiful! Thanks so much. Now for the hunt for where I can find cuttings.

CG was always full of blooms. Even this winter it bloomed all the time in the hoophouse. But my favorite one is Rosamond. It flowered and flowered and flowered. And it flowered pink! LOL
