Jody, I have a large (nearly 3' tall in a pot) bay laurel and will be glad to send you a cutting for postage. Do you think it's too cold to send it now?

I've never rooted any cuttings from it as I've not been too successful at rooting any cuttings except hydrangea.

I have Blood Root growing in our Woods.

Can anyone give me advise on saving seed from them? Like how soon after they bloom will it be time to collect? These plants are a distance from the house and I don't get back there every day, but would like to give it a try this spring so I can share.


I've been told this is Blue Cohosh........... is it? What's the difference between Blue Cohosh and Black Cohosh?

bay is tough to root sometimes it can take up to 6 months or more to root them
