I just dug up a massive clump of what I believe was butterfly amaryillis, but I thought that it wasnt hardy? I live in zone 7 and the dead folliage looked like daylilly straps and the bulbs were monsterous---some as big as cantalope. can they survive here? this clump was at least 15 years old--any one ever heard of this? thanks cheryl
