If you have "ramps"(Allium tricoccum)/wild leeks) I would love to get a start of them. Please email kelkay59@hotmail.com if you have them, or will have them. Thank you.

Ramps
Kelly, they are quite popular here. I don't have any myself, but will keep an eye open for some for you in spring.
Oh, those are so good! My grandmother used to get them by the bag full in spring?
She'd fry them up with potatoes and we would eat and eat and eat them!
Haven't found any plants or seeds for these yet.
Steph
Hi Kelly,
Since no one has responded, I will point out that J.L. Hudson has seeds of the European relative of our native ramp for sale. Since they seem to like to carry native seeds, you might email him and ask about Ramps.

Scroll down to Allium ursinum:
--ursinum. ALUM-115.
'RAMSONS', 'BEAR GARLIC'. Starry white 1/2" flowers in umbels, and rather un-onion-like pointed, oval, 2" wide leaves. Hardy perennial to 18". Eurasia. The leaves and bulbs are very strongly garlic flavored, and are diced fine and added to cooking, the flavor mellowing with the heat.
Count me in if anyone finds or has any to trade. Thanks, Jody
