I dug a brug stump out of a yard last month, no idea of color, but no serrations on leaves, assuming not yellow. I put it in a 7-gallon bucket with holes drilled all around the bottom, up to a height of 4". Now it's a growing like crazy, about 12" tall. What do I do with it now. It looks like I might have to do some surgery, and suggestions. Here's some pics. There are over 8 stems growing in this bucket.
And another pic...leaves are over 10" long and 5' wide!!! Planted in pure river sand.
Will be waiting to see what this one turns out to be. Sure looking good.
Your plant will make a great bush. Sometimes you just have to grab a clean knife and start in. Depends on what you want it to look like in the end.
It sure loves river sand! You may have started a new trend! LOL Where do I get some!
