Can't wait to see your pictures, David, you lucky little devil.
Can't wait to see some pictures.
Earthling, they are available in the US. The L'Amour is, to my knowledge, not available at any retail nursery like Parks or Wayside, but there are people who sell it on Ebay sometimes. Rothkirch has been available for a while through Native Habitat, but they are behind in their orders. You can place an order, pay upfront, and get it months down the road.
Yes, that's true, because I paid for a Rothkirch last September or first part of October. Hopefully, it will come in the next couple of months. Also, am on a list for a L'Amour from a very nice person that we all know and love here on DG.

Thanks for the info,I must be crazy to be thinking of MORE brugs. I just re-potted 30 into gal. pots and had to order 40 more pots. I have no idea what I will do with all these plants this summer.

What makes RK and L'Amour so different is that they are not as easy to root as other brugs! I have rooted both and they seem to be taking off and then suddenly after a couple of months they went into decline. I think it had to do with winter and water! I have more rooted and I am not even breathing near them. I still do not have my backups!
Both are so beautiful they are worth the $ but also since so hard to root they are not making the rounds very quickly.
Wishing everybody luck on rooting both of them. They are beauties!
I am so glad that Tracey (angelsbyashley) is offering L'Amour on her site. Now those of us who don't have it know where to get it. Her plants are beautiful and so healthy and green. Rothkirch and L'Amour are very difficult to root and that is why they are hard to come by. It sure would be great to have both of them.
David , Kell . . . send me your addys. I think I need to visit late one night!!!!!
My rooted RK did the same.
Going along great fall ..into winter they just quit .. )o:
Trying something else now ..and spring hopefully won't lose like the last.
Fingers crossed ..X
Way to go David. Can't wait to see photos.
Hope all can get some backups of these beauties. I usually try to have another start of my favorite ones, just in case.......I lose one. It does happen.

Well you scared me off, never mind the addy, thanks anyway.
Love those pods Kell.
I had to reverse that photo Kell,I was sure on of those tags said'Send all these seeds to Root'!!!!!
I will save you a few Root if they ever ripen! I squeeze them daily!
Short/fat pods.
My VO x EP or B, finally ripened, had 60+ seeds, stem yellowed and shriveled to nothing. It was a long thin pod.
You better get to work girl. You have 60 some seeds to get planted. LOL!! No rest for brug growers.
I know I must know VO but just can't place it.
WTG Kell and Hibiscus ... hope you both get something special there.
Is that Versi Orange?? VO?
Yes, Versi Orange and it is a beauty. Got it from a great trader.

I'm waiting patiently for blooms too Cat. I had some a month ago and was rearranging the GH and had doors open for several hours. The next day the pods were on the floor. I just found out in the ABADS new letter from a article from Calla that the change in humidity did it.
That was a nice newsletter. I've not taken the time to read it all yet, but it is beside my chair waiting for me to take the time to sit in there.
The articles were great! I learned some new things too! And it was nice hearing from Bruno again. He is such a nice young man and it was great having soemone here that was from Ireland.
I liked Bruno very much and he had his own website
(beautiful pictures).
Where is Brunos site?
