Barbados flower

I recently visited Barbados and took a photo of this bloom on a shrub. I bought a small book on Flowers of the Carribbean but this one is not shown.
Can anyone tell me the name, please.

Its a psuedoranthemum of some type.

I looked it up and found this by Monocromatico

Purple False Eranthemum
Pseuderanthemum atropurpureum
