This little plant has kind of grown on me (no pun intended). I tried pulling it out of the lawn but only succeeded in reseeding it elsewhere. It has potential as a groundcover and the little white flowers are actually kind of pretty.

LOL! I'd love to have this one show up in my garden. Next time you want to pull any let me know. I'll gladly take them off your hands! This particular plant was growing out in the scrub.

I'm sure I can get some seeds from this one if you really want it.

Hi Floridian and Butterfly gardner....
That is absolutely the sweetest little flower...perfect name, Fairy footprints.. I love it !! I would love to have a few seeds if someone has them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have seeds and plants to trade.. :))) If your interested.. : ))) Awesome picture !
Happy gardening !!!, Here in Washington we are just waiting, planning, trimming and dreaming of digging in the dirt, waiting for the last freeze in April. : ))

I'd love seeds! Compared to what I have in my yard this plant would be very welcome Mandy! I have very little grass, mostly different native and non native groundcovers. The commelina is bursting into bloom...little dots of brilliant blue and several others as yet unidentified.
I'm thinking, dare I say it?, that spring is just about here, natives are starting to break dormancy...YES!!

Just now seeing this a month later...this stuff is coming up all over in my side yard. I will go see if I can find you some seeds--if you're sure you really want some of this. I could try to ship some plants maybe, too.

Spring sprung a few weeks ago here in Orlando. My little plum tree (Prunus umbulata) bloomed--it was gorgeous. My cherry tree is blooming now and leafed out--also a Prunus sp. My beautyberries are starting to leaf out. My blue flag iris (Iris hexagonia) are blooming like nuts. The violets are almost done blooming. I just love spring!

I pulled up a plant of this from the overgrown portion of my butterfly garden this past weekend. I tossed it in a pot. I did not see any seeds on it (they are found in little "pouches" under the leaves--they look like a man's "pouch" if you know what I mean).

Mandy, Thanks!! I'm in Texas now but I'll drop you an e/m when I get home.
