A photograph of me volunteering at the Royal Caribbean Golf Classic last week. The tournament was held at the Crandon Park Golf Course on Key Biscayne.
My Neck of the Woods
Very pretty. It looks so nice to see all the green and sunshine. The blooms are just a plus for me.
I have four additional photographs of Frosty Pink. Unfortunately I have been unable to load them.
Great pictures delecie!....can't wait till mine bloom.
I enjoyed your show so much! So nice to see such pretty flowers. Isn't it fun to grow one from seed to flower? Such a feeling of accomplishment. Great job, Delecie!
they are lovely i'm still looking at pictures. very very nice..
Hi delecie, what a nice history of your brugs and nice pictures too.
Thank-you everyone for the compliments. I love looking out my windows and seeing everything in bloom. I even have a small Datura tatula flower that was grown from seed that Happenstance generously shared with me. If everything goes well this evening I'll try to post the additional pictures of Frosty Pink and the tiny Datura tatula. :)
Great to see YOU!!!I love seeing pictures of my Brugaddicted friends!!!
Your Blooms are looking great, hope to see more pictures later, will be looking!
What lovely pictures, Delcie!
Great pictures Delecie, Sure doesn't look like spring here. Hope you had a good time golfing. Know you had a great time watching your brugs grow and bloom. Donna
Great pictures, Delecie! Your plants look great. Sure beats looking at my naked, stick trees.
Oooh, I've got a cutting of Frosty Pink. Thanks so much for the preview of what it'll look like (that is, if I have just some of the great success that you do).
Pins2006 you'll have plenty of success with your Frosty Pink. Lucky for you and me, all of the Brug experts hang out in Dave's garden and they generously share advice and a whole lot more.
Poppysue I'm sure you won't have "naked, stick trees" for long. LOL Just think about a part of your trees living in Florida. The cuttings that I received from you (and other DGers) are growing beautifully and are ready to be planted into the ground.
Donna, I do love watching them bloom and I "run" home everyday to see if something new is happening. As for the golfing, I don't golf and I don't know much about golf either (I'm a big football fan). I was standing around in my volunteer uniform and one of the golfers asked, "What iron (I think that's what he said) do you think I should use to make this shot?" I shrugged my shoulders and replied, "I don't know, try the fat one with the scratches on it." LOL Well, that didn't go over well and I was quickly ushered back to my usual post with the Hospitality Committee. LOL
Thanks root and TLC. I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures also and I'm especially looking forward the the tropical paradise you'll create root.
Beautiful pictures, Delecie. Just remind me to not ask you which iron to use in golfing. LOL I don't golf anyway.
you know delecie, those golfers really ought to take up gardening,---they have no sense of humor, I got quite a snicker outa your comment. envying your blooms,--all we have is soggy yuck outside right now, but the daffs are poking their straps up so hopefully not much longer.... cheryl
delecie, you look prettier than all the brugs in that shot. The visor/cap works great with you.
I really wanted Charles Grimaldi, but that was one cutting sent to me that didn't make it (sniff, sniff)......
Woodspirit1:
Thank-you for your compliment. It made my morning!
I'm sorry your Charles Grimaldi cutting did not make it. After my CG stops flowering (he's still full of little buds), I'll be happy to take a cutting for you. As you can see from the photographs, he's a short plant so I'll have to take a short cutting. LOL

I think the golfers should take up gardening also. The golf course is beautifully landscaped and as I recognized some plants and trees I pointed them out to a fellow volunteer. I received disapproving looks from some of the golfers (I guess because I knew more about the plants than about golf) LOL. Another volunteer who is also a golfer told me a few things about golf and said he would test me on them the next day. I forgot everything he told me except for "par" so when I saw him coming I hid behind some tall plants. Plants are our friends! :)
AHHrrrggghhhh !
I can't take this any more....
.........Brugs growin' in the ground
......Brug cuttings under a tree....
