Wanted Moon & Stars Watermelon

Brown City, MI(Zone 5a)

I have never had any luck growing large watermelons in my zone 5, but my sone wants to give Moon and Stars a try and who am I to discourage him ;-)

Does anyone have some seeds they could share. Either retail or ones that have a good chance of not having crossed. I wouldn't want him to get discouraged if they didn't turn out to be what he expects.

I have an exchange list if you want to see if I have anything that would interest you.

We would also appreciate any advice on growing them. We plan on starting them inside, and using black plastic when we plant.

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

Seeds of Change carries them - www.seedsofchange.com $2.49 for 35 seeds.
Pinetree carries them - www.superseeds.com 95 cents for 20 seeds.
Burpee carries them - www.burpee.com $3.95 for 30 seeds. Definitely some difference in prices but shipping isn't added yet. Hope this helps if no one has any to share!:)

babalu,
Thanks for the offer, but we already have Sugar Baby. That just wasn't unusual or big enough for my son. ;-) It's one of my favorites though.

Ohio Breezy,

I've thought of a couple of morse seeds that I want to order, so I will just add the Moon and Stars to the list.

Thanks for your kind offer of your extras. We'll let someone else benefit from your thoughtfulness.
