Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

Anyone have starts to sell or trade? Or if not can anyone tell me where I might look to find this wonderful groundcover? I know its reported to be invasive, but I want it anyway :-)

I have some and would love trade some in the spring. I'm sure it's out there under the snow somewhere.LOL. Lou

I never heard that creeping jenny is invasive. I'm trying to figure out the best way to get mine to spread! I just love that plant. It is such a beautiful red and gold now.

I just love this site....the members are always so helpful and so nice.
I will tuck your names away and contact you in the spring. Hopefully we'll be able to work out some sort of trade/deal.

I've got it too! lol It's in a raised bed out back. I have the golden kind. I started off with a little 4" pot of it in July of 2002 and now it is all over the bed, probably 6 square feet of it and still going!!! :) I think it's pretty, but you have to really like it.

Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

I want to like it....if I could just get it into my garden. :P
Looks like I'll get some this spring though....hope hope hope.

Hey, I've got some, many babys too, maybe that would be better for you, maybe not. Hum....mine never got invasive but I do believe with the right enviroment they would do this.I have had mine for 5 years and just finally got about what I wanted. I love mine.Let me know if you want to trade.

Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

I would love to trade, but fear I haven't much worth trading for :-(
Please checkout my trade list (small as it is) and let me know if something appeals to you.

I could send it by the clumpfull if I lived closer to my parent's house in IL. They have tons of it growing near their creek. I love it.

Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

Sounds nice....I can't wait to get it growing around my ponds.

Chillicothe, IL(Zone 5a)

This lil guy loves it too! Sounds like you'll want for no more rikerbear! LOL
Yes! creeping jenny loves it around ponds, that is where mine is growing throughout the mulch and I never get tired of it, when it gets out of hand I just grab it and it pulls right up. I also use it to add in hanging baskets! Beautiful yellow flowers!

OH MY...I keep trying to kill that stuff......

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

Be careful what you wish for.......it is invasive even in zone 3!!
My Dad introduced it to his pond 60 years ago and now the little dear is in the grass, the bushes, etc. etc. I could supply the world with this one........ :(

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

This is my favorite ground cover. Here is a shot from some at my mom's house.
