I was checking out a link that Vi put on a site that I visit and I found this entry for the Missouri Marble Datura. Thought if anyone was interested in it, you might want to go here and check it out. Yes, it is for sale.

Missouri Marble Datura
Thanks Brugie. I went there and purchased several other items and not the Missouri Marble.
Frannie, I saw a few things I'm thinking about too. Thanks Vi, for this link.
Shirley, I think we have the same disease of the brain...lol
I agree, but we could spend our money on worse things.
Shirly, that's what I keep telling DH! There's a lot worse I could be spending my money on ;)
My hubby told me that this addiction was worse than drugs. It consumes house, yard, outbuildings and then more are built to fill up again. All spare change and some thats not is spent on buying more.
There is no treatment or cure available, not even in death are we free, cause when we die our family and friends send us more.......FLOWERS...and afterwards family and friends take them home to infect others....
Just thought yall ought to know this is for life....ha ha giggle, giggle...so what the use fighting it....
Dee
OMG Brugie! I just dropped 76.00 in less than 10 minutes at HYPERLINK@shop.bright.net! But I could have quit any time I wanted...really....I just didn't want too. :-)
I'm glad I'm not the only one out there that does that. Bet you got some cool stuff though and I've read that they are a great company to work with.
I just had to take a quick peak,I know I would be in trouble if I spent any time in there.
I only took a quick peek and got in trouble THAT fast. I got FIVE DATURA MISSOURI MARBLE, a VIGNA SNAIL VINE, a couple of ROSE HOT COCOA (have been wanting this for some time) a couple of BRUGMANSIA PEACHES AND CREAM (mine died) a couple of ROSE EASY GOING and a couple of ROSE ANGEL FACE. That's all! I think I showed some control....I couldn't believe the prices on this stuff. BRUGIE thanks for letting us know.
I need about 3 more acres to add to my town size lot in order to grow everything I want. My name is Sylvia and I'm a flower addict. Do you think there is a flower addict anonomous?
Everyone one should be VERY PROUD of me! I've not purchased ONE plant this winter. Not even a seed. The first time in over 7 years. Great will power, huh?? Actually it's the fear of a possible move coming up. *sigh*
But I'm enjoying watching all of you buy and run up those bills! LOL Buy something for me- just for the heck of it.
Tomorrow .... I shopping I will go. I have made my list. Thanks Shirley & Vi.
Root ... we will have us Missouri Marble.
LOL!Deb,you know I was drooling over it didn't you!!!
Fantastic price! That's the best price I seen yet!! Great find!!!
Well, Shirley ..
I was checking out your link. And yes, some nice offerings/nice prices.
BUT ..
Guess what else I found?!!
They are using MY Snowbank photo from the PDB ..(mine and DG Garden copyrights cropped) ..
as their Peaches and Cream!
http://shop.bright.net/fsg/Detail.bok?no=188
I noted their photo wasn't Peaches ..too much white is to the leaf edges.
Closer inspection ..it is MY photo!!!
Cropped from here:
http://davesgarden.com/fp.php?pid=523106
Boy,there is no doubt about that!!
They sure have. They even did a good job of removing the background brugs. I hope you write to them. I don't understand why people keep trying to get by doing this. If they wanted my photos, all they would have to do is ask.
Abutilon,
You should tell them that you will sue them for copyright infringement if they don't immediately remove your picture. That's false advertising on their part too. People who buy Peaches 'n Cream will end up being disappointed when their variegated Brug doesn't look like the picture. You can see where they used PhotoShop or PictureIt to remove the copyright from the middle of the picture. It looks blurry where the name used to be. Shame on them. I would not buy from people who would do that.
Abutilon,
Well, I may have overstepped my bounds a little. I apologize to you if I have. I became enraged that a commercial enterprise could just take your picture and disregard the copyright written all over it. I have uploaded more than 200 pictures to the Plants Database, and I became angry that this could happen with one of my pictures. So I wrote them the following email:

Dear Flower Scent Gardens,
Your picture of Brugmansia Peaches and Cream is actually a copyrighted picture of Brugmansia Snowbank which you stole from Dave's Garden Plants Database. This picture is copyrighted, and you removed the copyright identification in the middle of the picture. Further, you cropped this picture to remove the copyright in the upper left-hand corner. Not only are you falsely advertising, but you are using a picture without the permission of the owner.
If you do not remove this picture immediately, I will personally report you to the Better Business Bureau, of which you claim you are a member. Additionally, you may be subject to a copyright infringement lawsuit.
Sincerely,
Michelia"
By the way, Michelia is my anonymous name! I just received this response:
"Hi Michelia!
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I have friends and customers that will send to me by email pictures the plants they are interested in know or know for a fact that the plant or plants are fragrant, etc. I am always concerned that the picture could be copyrighted when they send these pictures to me. Now I know that this one is! I will promptly remove this picture from the web-store. Again I apologize for this and will promptly remove it from my site. Thank you for letting me know;I do not wish to cause any problems.
Glenn
Flower Scent Gardens"
Then I replied with this:
"Dear Glenn,
Thank you for your email and for your prompt attention to this matter. I will inform the owner of the picture that it has been removed.
Sincerely,
Michelia"
Abutilon, I hope you are not mad that I took some liberties. Sometimes my temper gets the better of me when I should butt out!
Glenn just sent me an additional email.

Michelia,
I sent an email to Dave's Gardening informing them of the accidental use of the photo. have apologized to them and also told them I have taken it off the web-store. Again, thanks for informing me of this problem.
Sincerely,
Glenn"
Here was my answer:
"Glenn,
Sounds great. Problem resolved. Thanks again for your prompt action.
Michelia"
Wow Clare, that was fast and good. He sounds like he truly didn't know that it was someone else's picture, but we will never know that. At least he was prompt in replying and hopefully in taking care of the situation. I'm impressed that he wrote to Daves Garden with an apology also.
Brugie,
Well, I don't believe that he didn't know that the photo was copyrighted. He, or someone that works for him, took some time to work with that photo and to remove the name, which was in black, and to replace it with the exact same color and markings of the leaves. Someone spent a lot of time with that photo, and I don't think it was "a friend" of his, but you are right that it is good that he was responsive and took prompt action to correct the problem. I hope this deters him from using other copyrighted pictures without permission.
Hey Kristi ... where is this possible move possibly taking you???
That was quick. The picture is now gone off his site.
Didn't Cathy (cbrandenburg) have an incredible variagated datura she posted last summer?
