Dee that's wonderful. You really will be hooked now. Hurry and tell us what ya think of the smell.

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

I don't know how to discribe it....it is heavenly, I want more of them for sure. I think it is a heavy fragrance but don't know what off....

I brought it in maybe a hour or little more ago. At first the fragrance was very faint. After about 15 minutes the living room and kitchen smelled of it. Now I can smell it all the way to my bedroom.

This couldn't come at a better time too. Me, my son and husband stopped smoking the first part of January. Now we can really smell something good.......
Dee

edited for spelling.....

Willow Wasp. I do love CG when it is in bloom. I usually have a large pot of it on my deck just outside and when the sliding door is open the fragrance is wonderful. You pictures are very enjoyable. Donna

I was going to mention to that the color is changing to a pale orange, gold, that is so great. It started out yellow and now is a golden color around the skirt.....How far up will the gold continue?
Dee

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Great shot! My CG could get very gold depending on the weather! This brug is always flowering. It has always had at least 1 bloom on it all winter. I just love it!

Dee, it would bloom in great flushes. You won't believe all the flowers it puts out.

Jerome, MI(Zone 5b)

OH wonderful pictures, thanks for sharing!!

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

The third and fourth blooms are opening tonight and probably tomorrow night. I have to have it outside today and tomorrow so it will stop dropping its leaves. Ho Hum.....weather is really nice today and the rest of this week so I guess it will be good to have them all out getting sun.....So many of the blooms on others have dropped since I had to bring them inside while we had our little freezey.. frosty nights....

Hey, Dee,
The Charles Grimaldi is probably the most prolific bloomer I know. Of all the ones planted in my garden, all have periods of bloom and rest, but the CG keeps on blooming/ Non-stop.
To encourage mine to grow taller and with a stockier trunk I pruned mine severely. They responded by pushing out new growth almost immediately and all are covered once again with blooms. Here's a photo of what your CG can look like in about a year.
