It has been snowing lightly all day and we have about 4" in most places. It's so pretty.
I've spent the day cleaning house. What a way to waste a day. LOL. Got a lot of vaccuming down and cleaned some cages. Still a huge amount of dusting to do but another day. I also washed about 5 loads of laundry. Now I need to fold the stuff and put it away.
If we can get to the highway in the morning Jack is scheduled to have his esophogus scoped again. They said the earlier we get there the sooner he will be able to leave again. I need to get him home and myself back to work asap. He will be on a liquid diet for a few days and then a soft smooth diet for another week or so to make sure he doesn't tear open the varicose veins that have been rubberbanded. He had this done a few months ago when it was discovered that he was really low on blood. Hopefully there won't be anymore varicose veins to ty off this time.
Jack got me the cutest pink stuffed bunny(?)today at the local convenience store. It isn't that big, but is so lovably cute. I think I'll sleep with it. I know Valentines Day is not for a while, but I stopped in the local Russel Stover outltet store yesterday to get myself an ice cream cone and spied some sugar free chocolate sauce. I just had to get some for Jack. He just shared it with me over some Rocky Road ice cream. Wow, that stuff is rich and thick. You sure wouldn't know it is sugar free.
We're watching Dirty Jobs on Discovery Channel. The host has helped get and process the mud used on every baseball throw in the National League every year. It helps the pitcher grip the ball more firmly preventing it ball from going so wild and hitting the batter as often. The he went to a fish & other seafood processing plant. There he got to filet a couple of fish, clean an octopus, when with the pureed by-products to the next plant where they are turned in to fertilizer, fish foods, etc. Everything in a fish or sea creature is used for something. Much of it is made into food for pond and lake fish. He also visited some bat caves, a woman who rescues injured or sick bats, etc. He is somewhre in Oklahomea now noodling for fish. It's a type of hand fishing for hopefully catfish.
Must go get us ready for the trip tomorrow. GOD bless and keep each of you.
