Last Friday there were no seeds up..by Monday this is what they looked like.seems like a fair number are comming up quickly. They have been in the flat about 12 days.
new seedlings
Looking great! These flats look huge. How many are you growing out, Kyle?
Looking good, that a lotta babies.
Where's the blooms? LOL!! Bloom deprived down here Kyle. Anything blooming at the BC?
Are they under lights or in a GH or both? What is the mixture in which you have them growing? Thanks for sharing the picture!
Kell, I have about 300 seeds planted, several of the yellow sanquineas are up too!. The seed mix is a commercial kind from Fafard co.I have them on gentle bottom heat and in a greenhouse at work.75F air temp.
Brugie..I have a huge v. orange in bloom and that aurea white just ready to open.It has 12 buds.gonna do some crossin! LOL
Makes me wish I had a GH!! That is why I love rockwool, kind of levels the playing field for me! LOL
My goodness !! I hope you have alot of room to plant all these babies outside when they grow up. My problem has always been that I can't stand to throw away any of my seedlings, so I usually end up with more than my yard can handle. I end up having to give them to friends.
I volunteer to grow grow some out for you,LOL!!!
Wow Kyle, looks like it will be an exciting year for you,and I can't wait to see what crosses come out for you!
ooooh sanquineas... wish I had better luck with them, but it seems being 20ft above sea level in a really humid locale always gets them after awhile.
Lookin' GOOD! Can't wait to see the blooms on these babies!!
Kyle you certainly have the green thumb
Kyle, how are the seedlings doing?
Most have second and third set of leaves already.....the first seedlings are getting real big..in 5 inch pots already and about to outgrow them. :-) Should be a good year!
Yes, it should!! I am seeing alot of pink in our future also! LOL. When do you start to feed your babies Kyle?
Maybe Kyle is out there feeding right now, Kell. LOL! I'm feeding mine and am up to full strength. They are looking good.
I had to quit potting, because I ran out of space. I had planned to move them into the Summerhouse but the weather has changed from warm to cold again!
Monika, I think we are just doomed to have this kind of weather for a while. By the time I'm able to get my brugs outside, they are going to be half way to trees. Hope your weather settles down soon.
WOW Eclipse! You did great!
