What I like about winter

Okay, So Spring isn't here yet and We are having another cold blast with more frozen precipitation. I was trying to think of all the things I like about winter. Maybe you folks could help me. I do like a good fire in the stove and there is nothing as warming as wood heat.
and then this may be a little disgusting , but important to a farmer. No flies. I hate flies.
help me out here.
